Fly Bar & Restaurant
Fly is downtown's latest hotspot and has been attracting impressive crowds every weekend. The cuisine is served in a tapas style and the staff encourages ordering multiple dishes to pass around the table. Our favorite is the late night menu which can be ordered until 2AM six nights a week. On busy weekend nights there is usually a good crown on the rooftop deck which also includes a full bar. On hot summer nights we stay down stairs and watch the live music. Address1202 N Franklin StTampa, FL 33602 813-275-5000 Website Hours

There is a new chef and his food is ridiculous. I had the ribeye last night and finished with a butternut squash soup. Ate every bit of both.

Upscale on the prices, about half the things on the menu are worth the price. Several things are really worth the money. Kobe beef sliders, yes. Frites two ways, glorified fries but sometimes exactly what you want at the quantity you want. Waitstaff are really friendly and helpful. The outside seating is a big plus, so is the upstairs deck. Gets a little noisy in the evenings sometimes for an eatery. Altogether too cool for school.
